Christine is my mom.
She is the author of the artwork on my pottery.
Here is a little more about her and her work.

Christine's young hands made bead necklaces then progressed to dressmaking and creative cooking, both useful talents when raising her family.

Soft furnishings brought an income as a single parent.
Her love of nature has contributed to her artworks and their use in nature conservation especially in The Empordan Wetlands in Catalonia.

Working with clay opened new ways of expressing herself.
Introducing Labyrinths to the public in Eco trade fairs in Girona, Catalonia inspired her to make Finger Labyrinths.

Finger
Labyrinths

As not everybody can walk a labyrinth, a “Finger Labyrinth” can be used. Sitting comfortably with the finger labyrinth on the table in front of you, close your eyes, take a couple of deep breaths, relax your body and quieten your mind. Using the second finger (the longest finger) of your non-dominant hand, trace the path to the centre and out again on the same path.
